Our first weekly prayer meeting was a powerful experience. It just felt right. I "knew" we were doing what the Lord wanted for our church at this time. This Wednesday, September 7, at 7:00 pm., we'll meet for our first weekly prayer meeting. I know that prayer meetings have gone out of fashion in recent years. We're tired, busy, distracted by many things and the thought of leaving home and sitting in room with a bunch of folks we may not know ... well, it's just not real appealing. I get it. However, on the other hand, setting aside every reason not to be there, I'm still convinced we should meet weekly this fall to pray. I

I'm looking forward with eager anticipation to this Wednesday, September 7. Three life-changing ministries will resume in our fall season of meetings. You'll want to get involved as appropriate: Our weekly Youth Group meeting returns to the church building at 6:00 pm. We've enjoyed the summer outdoors, but we'll use the youth room this fall for our teaching and small groups.
