Kids Alive Are Coming!
Over a decade ago, I visited Zambia and had my heart broken. I held a toddler with HIV/AIDS. I gave a sandwich to a street kid. I looked at a group of little boys wrecked by glue sniffing. It had an immediate and devastating physical and emotional Impact.
At the same time, however, my heart was filled with hope and gratitude. I met Jim and Ivy Kongwa and other Kids Alive staff. I visited the Kids Alive homes and schools. I saw former street and abandoned children being loved and cared for in safe environments. I watched them being taught about Jesus.
Kids Alive does great work. You should get to know them better. Cornerstone, Wednesday, 7:00 pm.
