The Case for the New Testament
The Case for the New Testament.
This Sunday, April 9, I begin a new teaching series called The Case for Christ. The flow of thought behind this Sunday's teaching is as follows:
The main historical sources for the life of Jesus Christ are the four Gospels in the New Testament.
If the Gospel accounts are inaccurate or unreliable, then our knowledge of Jesus Christ cannot be accurate and we cannot count on it as a way to know who Jesus is and what he has done.
On the other hand, if the Gospel accounts are accurate, then we can gain insights into the true identity and the life-changing, destiny-shaping work of Jesus Christ.
Sunday, I'll bring several very convincing proofs that the Gospels are reliable, factual, accurate, historical accounts of Jesus Christ. Your faith will be built up and, if you bring an unbelieving friend, they will encounter the most compelling person in the history of the world.
Please pray for the Lord to open doors of opportunity to invite? I believe that what I have to share is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes.
We welcome everyone! Whoever you are. Whatever you believe. Wherever you’ve been. Whatever you’ve done.
